Who We Are
In Arabic, ayat means signs, or verses — the individual passages that together make a larger, meaningful whole. That's the idea we design around: no single room, material or detail stands alone. Each one is a verse that has to sit right within the story of the whole space.
AYAT Interior was founded in Mumbai by a small team of designers and site engineers who were tired of watching good design get lost in bad execution. So we built a studio that does both — conceptual design and turnkey contracting — under one accountable roof, with our own workforce, our own workshop, and a single point of contact for every client.
Today, we work across residential, commercial, workplace and hospitality interiors in Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Goa and Alibaug — carrying the same discipline into every scale of project, from a single apartment to a multi-floor headquarters.
Our Philosophy
We don't chase a single signature look. Every AYAT project starts from the people who'll actually live or work in the space — their routines, their objects, their light. The materials and layout follow from there.
